Do you enjoy working with college students and want to contribute to the facilitation of their academic success? The Dean’s Office within the College of Arts and Sciences is looking for an Administrative Coordinator II to support Undergraduate Academic Advising. You will serve as the personal assistant for the Executive Director of Academic Advising and Student Success and be the primary support for the Assistant Directors and Dean’s level advising staff. You will handle tasks such as preparing correspondence, maintaining calendars, and scheduling appointments. Responsibilities will also include organizing meetings on behalf of the Executive Director, facilitating customer appointments, and managing communication for the Dean’s Office advising. Additionally, the role involves planning and executing office operations, coordinating meetings and events, managing team procedures, and supporting various administrative functions and projects. Opportunities to Contribute: Administrative Support: Coordinate and manage administrative tasks, including preparing reports, summaries, and analyses for the Director of Advising.
Meeting Coordination: Schedule and arrange meetings, including logistics, announcements, and other services as requested by advising staff.
Process Improvement: Adapt, combine, and improve services, processes, or programs.
Event Planning: Provide logistical support for college advising meetings and events, including scheduling, room setup, and ordering materials and refreshments.
Document Management: Manage incoming mail, deliveries, and faxes, and maintain electronic document management systems.
